For many years, wolves in Poland were on the brink of extinction. Thanks to conservation efforts, the predator population has significantly recovered, and today they can be found in many regions of the country. This is cause for celebration, but at the same time, the risk of attacks on livestock—such as sheep, goats, and poultry—is increasing. To help you minimize this risk, we have developed a high-quality range of products for protection against wolves.
Development and recommendation of innovative wolf deterrent systems by industry associations
In collaboration with the Saxon Sheep and Goat Breeders’ Association and the Baden-Württemberg Sheep Breeders’ Association, we have conducted several research projects aimed at developing particularly effective wolf-proofing systems. These systems are designed to provide optimal protection for livestock. The fences, which have been extensively tested in practice, have proven their worth and are expressly recommended by the aforementioned associations.
turbomax® high energy
The high-energy Turbomax® mesh is suitable for use on uneven terrain and in mountainous areas. Because the spacing between the lower mesh openings is particularly wide, small wild animals can slip through the mesh and remain unharmed. Rigid vertical mesh elements ensure the fence’s stability. The reduced number of horizontal strands ensures particularly high conductivity with low power consumption by the electric fence.
horinetz super plus
For the 90-cm-high Horinetz Super Plus, an additional 20-mm-wide tape can be placed at a height of 120 cm. This special design can make it more difficult for a wolf to jump over the fence, as the tape disrupts the wolf’s field of vision due to movement in the wind, preventing it from calculating the jump over the fence. UV-resistant plastic posts combined with double spikes provide secure anchoring, even on loose ground or in windy conditions.
turbomax® high energy plecionka
The turbomax® high-energy sheep fencing is braided: Unlike conventional fencing, the conductive material is woven into plastic PE monofilaments. This provides excellent protection for the conductive material against wear and tear and improves the fence’s tensile strength. turbomax® high-energy sheep nets have been specially developed for use in rough terrain and are significantly lighter than comparable sheep nets.
