This is how the horizont raccoon repellent works

The device emits ultrasonic sounds in the frequency range from 1 kHz to 30 kHz every 210 seconds. The sounds are unpleasant for the animals, but completely harmless. The frequencies are varied automatically so that they do not become accustomed to the sounds.

Easy handling & long running time

The repellent device is powered by a lithium-ion battery (3.7 V, 1,500 mAh). The light sensor automatically activates the device in darkness (below 4 LUX). A full battery charge lasts for up to 40 days. Thanks to the mounting plate, which can be attached with either screws or adhesive tape, the device can be easily removed and reinstalled to recharge the battery. The battery can be conveniently recharged via a USB-C port; a suitable cable is included in the scope of delivery. The integrated LED lights up red when the battery needs to be recharged. ***Please note that the repellent device should not be installed directly on the garbage can, as this may hinder emptying by the garbage collection service. ***
