The horizont ranger® AS120 is the ideal solar-powered energiser for farmers and hobby livestock owners who want a reliable, self-sufficient and efficient energy supply. Thanks to its integrated solar module, the device is ready for immediate use – perfect for remote or off-grid pastures.

Thanks to an optimised circuit board, high-quality electronic components and software-controlled energy management, the ranger® AS120 now has an impressive +25% longer battery life.
The integrated deep discharge protection reliably protects the battery from damage, while the intelligent power-saving circuit automatically adjusts energy consumption to the fence load – for maximum efficiency and operational reliability.

The integrated 20-watt solar module is fully assembled and ready for immediate use.
Four selectable angles of inclination ensure that you can make optimum use of solar energy at all times.
For transport and storage, the panel can be folded into a special transport position – particularly practical and gentle.
Safe installation & high stability
The ranger® AS120 comes with a sturdy U-shaped ground stake that provides a secure hold even on uneven ground and ensures optimum earthing.
For larger pastures or dry soils, we recommend additional T-shaped ground stakes.
ECO Power Mode – efficient & environmentally friendly
The integrated ECO Power Mode intelligently adjusts power consumption to the condition of the fence.
This means lower energy consumption, lower operating costs and particularly sustainable operation.
Practical battery indicator & easy charging
The 3-stage battery indicator provides a quick overview of the current charge status at all times.
If necessary, the battery can be conveniently recharged via the integrated DC socket using the supplied 230 V plug-in power supply.
Note on charging time: Please note that this is a mains power supply unit. Compared to a conventional battery charger, it may take longer to fully charge the battery.

- Warning of electrical voltage
- This warning stands for possible harmful situations caused by electrical voltage, which can lead to serious injury or death if not observed!
- Fire hazard warning
- Warning - there is a risk of smouldering fire if heat builds up. The appliance must not be covered by materials etc. during operation, as this can lead to heat build-up and possibly to fire. Therefore, do not install in areas at risk of fire (e.g. hay and straw stores)
- Warning! Repairs may only be carried out by qualified persons. Only the replacement parts specified by the manufacturer may be used. We reserve the right to make technical changes!
- Please do not cover the electric fence with a plastic bag. Fire hazard due to overheating

Repair service
Reliable, competent and fast contact
Good service plays a major role at horizont. In our in-house repair workshop, experts are available to assist you with words and deeds. In case of a defect or damage of your device (e.g. due to lightning strike or moisture ingress), horizont's technical service will be at your disposal at short notice.
Many of horizont's specialized trade partners can repair your device on site thanks to simple modular construction or your device will be repaired in the service center in Korbach and you will be helped with a loaner device during the short repair time (usually 48 hours).
During the subsequent safety inspection, all components of the device are tested and you receive a one-year warranty on the complete device.
