The farmer® AS50 energiser is reliably supplied with power via the replaceable, integrated 12-volt battery and the powerful 12-watt solar module. The integrated solar charge control guarantees easy recharging of different battery types and is installed in the device to protect it from the weather.

The new solar panel impresses with a UV-resistant surface that remains durable even in intense sunlight and guarantees permanently high charging power.

The integrated power-saving circuit and deep discharge protection optimise the energy efficiency of the device and extend the service life of the battery - ideal for long-term self-sufficient operation.
Intelligent control with "Energy Control"
The 3-stage LED display "Energy Control" offers a quick check of the battery capacity and also shows the activity of the energiser by flashing in time with the pulse output. The special energy-saving circuit automatically adapts the energy consumption to the electric fence - for less power consumption and lower operating costs.
Robust, durable & practical
The ergonomic carrying handle makes it easy to handle. The housing is made of high-quality, UV-resistant, splash-proof and impact-resistant plastic. It is torsion-resistant, oil-resistant and designed for year-round outdoor use - for a long service life under all conditions.
Reliable performance for medium-sized fencing systems
The energiser is suitable for fence lengths of up to 4 km (with medium vegetation). For optimum fence safety, installation with an earthing rod is recommended.

- Warning of electrical voltage
- This warning stands for possible harmful situations caused by electrical voltage, which can lead to serious injury or death if not observed!
- Fire hazard warning
- Warning - there is a risk of smouldering fire if heat builds up. The appliance must not be covered by materials etc. during operation, as this can lead to heat build-up and possibly to fire. Therefore, do not install in areas at risk of fire (e.g. hay and straw stores)
- Warning! Repairs may only be carried out by qualified persons. Only the replacement parts specified by the manufacturer may be used. We reserve the right to make technical changes!
- Please do not cover the electric fence with a plastic bag. Fire hazard due to overheating

Repair service
Reliable, competent and fast contact
Good service plays a major role at horizont. In our in-house repair workshop, experts are available to assist you with words and deeds. In case of a defect or damage of your device (e.g. due to lightning strike or moisture ingress), horizont's technical service will be at your disposal at short notice.
Many of horizont's specialized trade partners can repair your device on site thanks to simple modular construction or your device will be repaired in the service center in Korbach and you will be helped with a loaner device during the short repair time (usually 48 hours).
During the subsequent safety inspection, all components of the device are tested and you receive a one-year warranty on the complete device.
