Batterie 9Volt, 90Ah
- Suitable for all 9 V battery-powered electric fences
- Zinc-carbon batteries have a lower voltage curve than alkaline batteries over their entire life. Lower voltage curve than alkaline batteries
- Disposal included in the price
There are two different types of batteries. On the one hand alkaline batteries (so-called air-oxygen batteries) and on the other hand zinc-carbon batteries. Both battery types supplied by horizont are mercury and cadmium-free and therefore very environmentally friendly.
Zinc-carbon battery (9V / 90 Ah)
The voltage curve of the zinc-carbon batteries is steadily decreasing over the lifetime. From a battery voltage of approx. 5.5 V, batteries are empty and must be replaced. Less powerful devices are operated with a zinc-carbon battery. The steady voltage drop does not affect the important guard voltage in the fence when power requirements are low.
Operating a pasture fence unit with battery and solar panel:
The device can be operated during the day when there is sufficient sunlight via the panel.
At night, operation runs via your 9 V battery.
Attention: The battery is not charged via the solar panel!
